A Visit to Lucky Star Farm

We love to visit our friend Miss Janet at Lucky Star Farm about every week. She has a beautiful farm just a few miles down the road in Rabun Gap. She has dairy goats, horses, pigs, chickens and a wonderful dog named Charlie. Going to Miss Janet's farm is one of our favorite things to do. The animals we love most are the dairy goats. We love to help Miss Janet milk the goats, she is very patient with us. Her goats are very sweet and smart, they remind us of big dogs. Miss Janet has Nubians which give very good and rich milk with high butterfat. Miss Janet also makes really good cheese. Someday we hope to have a farm as wonderful as Lucky Star Farm. When we do we want to start our goat herd with some of Miss Janet's sweet goats. Here are some pictures of a visit to Lucky Star Farm.

  1. Excellent photos! Those goats are so cute! They are big as y'all! It's neat that y'all get to go there so often. Advantages of mountain life. :)
